Our vacation was nice. The girls had a really good time. So much so that was the worst mother in the world for letting the vacation come to an end, hmph. I had an alright time too. Since I was going into the vacation from a huge amount of time off already, I was just anxious to get back to work. I’ve been back to work now for almost three weeks.. Wholy cow, I can’t believe it’s already been three weeks. Time fly’s when you screw up a schedule that your used to, like being bored all the time. Everything at work is all jumbled and I was having a difficult time at first getting my bearings on and dealing with new people and practices. You could say I was really stressed out the whole first week back which didn’t help my full force entry into the world after cancer. At this point, I’d say I’m feeling a little better about my job and my place at Yale although a lot is still in limbo. All n all it feels great to be around my peeps and feel important again. The love I got while I was sick is still coming in and that makes me feel really good too (I mean shoot, I got a hug from fellow Yale peep, Nathan today ;-))

    So I go in tomorrow for my CBC. I’m excited about it, which is a little weird. I know I’m fine since I feel fine but it will still be nice to have the numbers to back it up. Most of the time I walk around thinking that the cancer chapter is closed in my life but sometimes.. sometimes I just feel like a walking time bomb and that any day now, any minute now.. It’s going to all start all over again. I know this is a normal thought so I don’t freak out too much but still..

    Since my battle with cancer is winding down I’m thinking about the direction of this site. I figure there will probably continue to blog about my feelings and experiences of life after cancer but I don’t need donations or anything like that anymore (and hopefully never again but THANKS to all!! for your support!!) So I need a new angle. I need you guys to help me. What should I call this? Should I just move this to Digikality? Or should I just rename/redesign? Post your ideas and comments..
