I was reading a health publication I get from our health plan and it was talking about a bunch of commonly referred to terms such as acid reflux, menopause and metabolism.. I come across the excerpt that talks about stem cells and of course I'm compelled to read. I get about half way through the paragraph and is says "Stem cells are transplanted into patients with severe blood diseases such as leukemia..." Thats as far as my eyes would go.. I just got stuck. I couldn't read any further. I kept going over "severe blood diseases such as leukemia" again and again. I mean, it says severe.. I still don't get it. Two years later and I still don't get it!!
