Went to Ohio this weekend to see a friend I met on the Leukemia society message boards. (hey Tiff) She relapsed earlier this month after just celebrating her 1 year mark. For me, the scary thing is that she's been having CBCs like every two or three weeks. She was always wigged out and stuff went wrong for her fairly regularly.. the scary thing... her leukemia relapse wasn't caught with her CBCs! She ended up having a leukemic tumor that caused a great deal of pain which prompted a cat scan or mri (i get them confused) and found the tumor which was followed by a bone marrow biopsy.. which confirmed the leukemia.
