My girlfriend Nikki and I got our first tattoos together about ten years ago. On her most recent visit home, we ventured out to get our second tattoos together too. That was really neat. I'm thankful for having a friend like Nikki.

I got the idea for this a while ago from a necklace I saw in a jewlery store. It's a little tough to tell in this shot but the wings are made up of two hearts interlocked. In my head, the hearts are my kids. The body is made up of a bunch of little hearts and to me this is me holding the whole thing together. It works for me ;-)
